| McDonald's Conspiracy |
 |
McDonald's Conspiracy was a group effort. The project aimed at challenging some of the norms of public and private space. The creation and distribution of a fake coupon effectively did two things. It embraced the nature of a coupon as a system and enhanced it. *that's right, completely free. The project was to distribute the coupons through the city paper and document the consumers that try to redeem them. The project is huge, socially, culturally, interactively. There certainly was a certain demographic that attempted to redeem the coupon. The McDonald's had a systematic and immediate response to the influx of angry customers. I designed the coupon and managed the project team from start until execution whereby individuated tasks were created to document the event. I wore a wired microphone and documented audio of the event.
