1982 Disks
1982 Disks was a nonlinear narrative hand written on the faces of a one thousand nine hundred and eighty-two edition of floppy disks. Each disk was then stamped with '1982disks.com' where by the viewer of the installation was instructed to take the disks. The inquisitive takers would then interact with my disk by going to the website. On the site are instructions to populate the disk and return it to the pile. This in effect created a forum for communication that combined an antiquated medium such as a 3.5 floppy disk with a courier-like method of communicating where the interaction is handled manually.
